Celine Dion & Elvis Presley Duet?

Will Celine Dion perform with Elvis Presley on Wednesday's Idol Gives Back? Idol TV promos have revealed the charity benefit will feature "two of the biggest stars in musical history coming together."

Sources at the taping told TMZ.com that Celine sang Elvis Presley's hit, If I Can Dream with an Elvis impersonator. Supposedly he was just a stand-in, and on Wednesday, Celine will sing on stage with a virtual Elvis - like Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole's Unforgettable. The remaining Idols will sing backup. Elvis died nearly thirty years ago, while Celine has been lighting up the Coliseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for the last four years.

Idol Gives Back is a campaign to raise money to fight extreme poverty in the U.S. and Africa. The two night extravaganza (Wednesday/Thursday) will feature singing stars Gwen Stefani, Pink, Josh Groban, Kelly Clarkson, and attracting super corporate sponsors such as Coca-Cola and Myspace. And of course, Phil Stacey being booted off Idol, finally!

Yours Truly, Tim
